Hello all and welcome to the Cultural Equity Column of the STEM Newspaper! This is a new column that STEM Newspaper will be hosting on our website in partnership with the Students For Equity DASD Club at STEM.

The main goal of our column is to provide more in-depth knowledge of the topics that Students For Equity DASD cover on their Instagram page, @studentsforequitydasd. While it is important to start the dialogue about the pressing issues we are facing in today's world through social media, there is only so much that can be learned through an Instagram post, hence our new column. Here, we will regularly post articles about a myriad of different topics ranging from racial literacy to cultural appropriation, so if you would like to be notified each time we post a new article for this column, please go ahead and make an account on our website and we will add you to the mailing list.
