The traditional newspaper goes back to as early as the ancient Romans. The first ever newspaper to have been published is the Acta Diurna around 59 BC. The Acta Diurna was kind of like the modern daily newspaper, its purpose to inform the public about daily happenings. Why is this important? Because, it is our job as human beings to carry on the legacy that our ancestors left for us. Communication has always been a very important part of human life, and journalism will always be one of the most effective ways for a common public to be informed about daily happenings in society. We want to bring this form of communication to STEM Academy.
